Parisa's Driving school Learning contract


Course Aims 

The aims of undertaking driving lessons with Parisa’s Driving School are: 

  • to provide a safe, supportive, understanding environment where learning to drive becomes a journey of growth and self-development on a personal as well as a practical level. Learning not just how to control the car and deal with traffic situations but also becoming educated on managing the human factors that form such an important part of being able to drive safely for the rest of your driving life.
  • to allow two-way open honest communication to facilitate development of knowledge, understanding, skills and self-reflection that are required to be able to become a safe driver.

Course Methods 

Driving tuition will be provided in the following ways: 

  • through in person one to one training in the car provided in the form of various coaching and reflective conversations as well as when necessary instructional methods and demonstrations by the coach as and when they are of benefit to the development of the client.
  • through use of the tool that is the Total Drive app. (Lessons times, payments, reflective logs will be stored here as well as links to useful educational websites.)
  • using the tool that is THT (The Honest Truth) app. (Road safety education will be provided using this fantastic road safety campaign’s work.)

Client Responsibilities

You as the client undertake to:

  • commit to being reliable, responsible, and respectful.
  • be open and honest in your communication.
  • participate in coaching and reflective two-way conversations.
  • complete any homework discussed during in person training which may take the form of private practice, research or self-study.
  • play a proactive role in your learning to drive experience including taking advantage of the resources provided to you.

Coach Responsibilities 

As your coach I undertake to: 
  • be reliable, responsible, respectful, and professional.
  • provide a supportive, encouraging and understanding environment for you in which you can learn with a particular emphasis on coaching and self-reflection.
  • be open, honest, and understanding. Learning to drive isn’t easy but I will endeavour to support you in your learning as best I can.
